The Secret Garden unlocks its first look: Another kind of magical story based on an older YA classic is the latest adaptation of the novel The Secret Garden, which stars Colin Firth and Dixie Egerickx. Watch the first trailer for the movie below, and see it in theaters later this year.
Greyhound targets our attention: Tom Hanks plays another military commander during World War II in Greyhound, which released its first trailer this week courtesy of Sony. Watch it below and see the action-packed feature, about a naval convoy in the Atlantic avoiding submarine attack, on June 12.
Antebellum takes us back to move forward: Moonlight’s Janelle Monae stars in Antebellum, an upcoming horror movie dealing with the history of slavery in America. Connected animates the rise of the machines: Sony released the first spot for Connected, an animated feature about a family attempting to bond without technology who wind up having to unite against technology. Watch the trailer below and see the movie on the big screen starting September 18.
Scoob! teases more classic characters: Warner Bros. released the final trailer for the upcoming Scooby-Doo movie, Scoob!, and this time the movie teases appearances from classic Hanna-Barbera characters Blue Falcon, Dynomutt and Dick Dastardly. Cars: In addition to Onward and A Bug’s Life, the three Cars movies are the only Pixar features in which no human characters appear.
