If you thought the Maze was bad, wait till you see the Scorch.
The first trailer for the Maze Runner sequel, The Scorch Trials, has arrived online, teasing an action-packed follow-up that raises the stakes while building out more of the freaky dystopian society set up in the first film.

Now that they've escaped the Maze, the Gladers -- led by Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) -- must utilize their skills to navigate a much more dangerous (and complicated) wasteland called the Scorch, which resembles a ruined, post-apocalyptic world --- and at the same time gather clues about the shady organization that's been hanging over them since the beginning.
We dug the action in the first movie -- this is a franchise that definitely brings the intensity when it comes to its big, chaotic moments -- and The Scorch Trials looks to continue that, exposing a much larger (and richer) cinematic playground for our characters to battle through.
