This January 28, Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into one of Marvel's most compelling and conflicted characters -- the complex and multi-layered Dr. Michael Morbius.

Part of Sony Pictures' growing Spider-Man Cinematic Universe -- and a pivotal antihero in the Spider-Man comics -- Morbius arrives in theaters during the most exciting era of Spidey storytelling. Hot off the global success of both Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Morbius presents a unique Marvel movie with vampiric qualities, yet one that is also very much a superhero movie first and foremost.

Following Spider-Man's multiverse-spanning adventure in this December's Spider-Man: No Way Home, Morbius kicks off the new year with an origin story about a doctor who, in a quest to cure his own rare blood disorder, gambles on a solution that ultimately transforms him into something much more sinister. "He's got some unique powers, but his powers seem to be out of his control," Leto explains in the exclusive video below, released ahead of the film's new trailer. "Putting a Marvel character on screen that's never been on screen before, it'll be fun to see where we can go with that. There's a web of opportunity..."

Ooohh, a web of opportunity, you say?

Check out the video below, then come back tomorrow to watch the brand new Morbius trailer.
