Leo (Ray Romano) and Angela Russo (Laurie Metcalfe) live happily Somewhere in Queens, where they reside happily with their basketball-loving son, known as "Sticks" (Jacob Ward), surrounded by a tight family unit that includes Leo's father (Tony LoBianco) and brother (Sebastian Maniscalco). A crisis arises, however, when Sticks' romance with Dani (Sadie Stanley) hits a teenage roadblock, putting the future happiness of the entire family in peril.
We get a taste of the Russo family dynamic in our exclusive clip. The family has gathered at a wedding reception, where their lively banter is interrupted when Leo stands up to offer a few wise words for the traditional wedding video. What he says, though, is anything but expected.
Ray Romano also directed, making his debut behind the camera. Watch the clip in its entirety below to hear what is recorded for posterity, then get tickets to enjoy Somewhere in Queens with your family and friends. The grounded, heartwarming comedy opens Friday, April 21, only in movie theaters.
