In Rebecca Miller’s romantic comedy She Came To Me, opening in select theaters this weekend, we meet Steven (Peter Dinklage), an opera composer with a creative block. He also has a therapist wife having a crisis of her own (Anne Hathaway), and a teenaged son (Evan A. Ellison) who may be derailing his own life – but he’s on a deadline with the opera. And so he finds himself some inspiration: A free-spirited tugboat captain named Katrina (Marisa Tomei) with a little bit of an obsessive streak.
In the exclusive clip below, Katrina confronts Steven after the completion of his opera. He composed it, of course, but can he acknowledge her contribution?
