A young couple becomes embroiled in controversy that stretches across the nation in the timely suspense picture Queen & Slim. Academy Award nominee Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) and Jodie Turner-Smith star as the titular characters, two people who are still discovering each other romantically when an unexpected encounter with law enforcement officers turns deadly, forcing them to go on the run as they desperately fight to stay alive.
Queen (Jodie Turner-Smith) and Slim (Daniel Kaluuya) find refuge at the home of a family member, but it's only temporary. Before they leave, there are definitely things they need in order to have to chance against the odds. In our exclusive clip, Queen negotiates with her Uncle Earl (Bokeem Woodbine) from a position of strength. Even so, he appears to be reluctant about a certain item until Queen's own strong will becomes evident.
