Fans looking to satisfy that Frozen craving (and we know there are a lot of you) will be happy to learn that you won't have to wait long at all. In fact, if you were watching the Once Upon a Time season finale this past Sunday night, you already got a sneak peek at what Disney is planning for what's destined to be its next major franchise.

Before we get any kind of Frozen sequel or Broadway musical, the popular characters from Disney's most successful animated movie in years will be heading to the small screen... and they'll be in live action, too. During the season finale of Once Upon a Time, we were served a brief tease of Queen Elsa's arrival, though it's unclear as to whether she'll be a hero or a villain when the series returns in the fall.

Watch her brief appearance below.

No actress has been cast as Elsa yet, which is why we only see her from behind in this brief tease. Additionally, Once Upon a Time creators have said that other Frozen characters will also appear, so we definitely expect to see Anna and Hans to get in on the fun as well.

Since we still have a few months before the Frozen characters make their big live-action television debut, here's some fun fan-made art that imagines what Frozen would've looked like had Tim Burton (Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland) directed instead. Head to Design Taxi for more.
