Earlier this year, The Paperboy premiered at Cannes to mixed results. The follow-up film for Lee Daniels, who burst onto the scene with the Oscar-nominated Precious in 2009, teams together Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron and John Cusack in a pulpy thriller about a reporter who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate.
Now we get a first look at the film in this new trailer, complete with McConaughey in full lawyer mode, Kidman rocking a Southern twang and Zac Efron dancing in his underwear.
The Paperboy gets a limited release on October 5.
If you were watching the Olympics last night on NBC, you may have caught a glimpse of the new trailer for The Words.
The film stars Bradley Cooper as a struggling writer who purchases an old attaché case filled with writings from a now elderly gentleman, played by Jeremy Irons.
Cooper's Rory Jansen decides to steal the work and publishes it under his own name, reaping success and fame as a result. But this begin a drama, things start to take a turn for the worse as Rory must deal with the consequences of his actions.
The Words arrives in theaters September 7.
