Eva Mendes stars as Grace, a single mom raising her 13-year-old daughter, in this coming of age story in Patricia Riggen's first feature film since the well-reviewed 2007 Mexican indie, Under the Same Moon (La misma luna).

Girl in Progress co-stars Patricia Arquette and Matthew Modine and introduces Cierra Ramirez as Ansiedad, Grace's daughter. The movie opens April 27.

Disney's planned conversion of a series of classic animated movies continues. While The Lion King 3D raked in almost $100 million late last year and Beauty and the Beast is poised to add on to its $377 million lifetime theater gross  when it hits screens in 3D this weekend, the next movie in the Disney 3D pipeline is a Pixar classic. Arguably the most-beloved stand-alone Pixar movie ever made, Finding Nemo goes 3D.

During its initial run in 2003, the movie made a whopping $867 million worldwide. While traditional hand-drawn animated movies present a bit of a challenge in converting to 3D, Pixar's computer-generated films may be easier to add the effect over a broader scope. That's not to say the 3D effects in Beauty and the Beast are terrible, in fact, they're actually much more prominent than The Lion King, especially in the exterior scenes.

But enough numbers and film babble. Check out the teaser trailer for Finding Nemo 3D, below. The movie arrives in theaters September 14.
