While the marketing campaign for Christian Bale's final turn as Batman is just starting to get under way, the buzz continues to swell for his other movie, The Flowers of War, a wartime drama directed by Chinese legend Yimou Zhang. We got a peek at some of the footage in the first foreign language trailer, but today, via Deadline, comes the new English-language version. The Flowers of War opens in limited release this December 23.
Also today, MSN has premiered the latest trailer for Focus Features' animated adventure comedy ParaNorman. The teaser trailer premiered about a month ago, featuring voice work by Kodi Smit-McPhee, Caey Affleck, Anna Kendrick and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, among others. This latest version drives the point home that Norman can see and communicate with dead people, kind of like Haley Joel Osment in The Sixth Sense, only Claymation-ized. ParaNorman opens August 17.
