Taylor Swift gave Hunger Games fans a surprise Christmas present last night. The singer tweeted a song that will appear on The Hunger Games soundtrack. Overnight, Safe and Sound has become the #1 downloaded song on iTunes as well as a worldwide Twitter trend.
You can purchase the song here as you enjoy the long holiday break and countdown to opening day (March 23, in case you had somehow forgotten).
As with almost everything nowadays, the song has appeared on YouTube (though we can't guarantee for how long).
