Tickets are now on sale to watch The Suicide Squad in theaters nationwide. An extremely dangerous threat has required that a dynamic team be assembled in response, featuring the notorious supervillains Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Bloodsport (Idris Elba) and Peacemaker (John Cena). Known as Task Force X, they are sent on a do-or-die mission to a remote island that is overflowing with militant adversaries and unbelievably well-armed guerilla forces. Oh, and there's also a giant, monstrous starfish to contend with, too.
In this exclusive featurette below, appropriately titled "Gunns Blazing," watch as the cast talk all about working with director James Gunn on the next big DC Comics film. Gunn, who's best known as the director of Marvel's two Guardians of the Galaxy films, brings a bit of a different approach to The Suicide Squad, as you will see in the video below. "The movie's gigantic... it really is the biggest movie I've ever made," exclaims Gunn as we're treated to footage of massive practical sets. "You're hearing the explosions, you're smelling the gun powder, and that just ups the ante," explains Margot Robbie. Check it out.
Directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad also features Viola Davis, Michael Rooker, David Dastmalchian, Alica Braga, Mikaela Hoover, Mayling Ng, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Pete Davidson and Sylvester Stallone as a killer shark.
