Colman Domingo in Sing Sing

After earning raves as a limited release, Sing Sing is now playing in theaters across the country. (Get your tickets here!)

Sing Sing is based the true story of John "Divine G" Whitield, an unjustly imprisoned man who finds purpose when he joins a theater program behind bars. In our exclusive featurette, Colman Domingo, who plays Divine G in the movie, explains what drew him to the role: “This story is showing you people who are trying to make themselves better . . . to understand that there’s humanity there.”

We also hear from his co-stars, including Paul Raci, Sean San Jose and several brand-new faces played by formerly incarcerated people who participated in a program much like one in the film. As you’ll see, they were all impressed by Colman’s talent and generosity.

Colman says of Sing Sing, “It’s teaching me what I truly believe about forgiveness, about accountability, about love, about grace.” Check out the featurette below, and make your plans to see this inspiring story. You can get your tickets right here at Fandango.
