When it comes to classic horror movies, you don't get more iconic than 1982's Poltergeist. The Steven Spielberg-produced movie, about a family haunted by evil spirits in their house, is one of the more inventive spooky thrillers, known for its unforgettable imagery (like the little girl in front of a television screen) and overall creepy tone. This July 24 those spirits (and that tone) return to screens in a remake that stars Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie DeWitt as the parents in an unassuming family that finds their lives thrown for a scary loop when spirits show up in their new home.

And if you're wondering about that link at the end of the trailer, it's for a website called DiedinHouse.com that -- for a fee -- will tell you whether anyone has ever died in your house. How close are you to living with a real-life poltergeist? Sounds like those answers are just a click away. Go for it... if you dare.
Poltergeist hits theaters on July 24.
