Michael Shannon Now Rumored for ‘Superman’ Villain

Less than 24 hours after Latino Review reported that Edgar Ramirez was being looked at for the villain role in Zack Snyder’s Superman movie, Deadline claims that Michael Shannon is also a person of interest – perhaps for the same role, or a different one. If they’re bringing back Zod and Ursa (villains from Superman II), then one assumes their silent-but-deadly beast of a partner Non (originally played by Jack O’Halloran) will show up too. And Shannon looks eerily similar to O’Halloran, so we’ll soon see if that’s the angle they’re taking.

‘The Bourne Legacy’ Search Continues
Who will replace Matt Damon as the new star of the Bourne series? We’re not sure, but whoever he is, he won’t be playing Jason Bourne. Nope, the studio is still hoping Matt Damon will return to that character one day – and while this film is set in a world that includes the Jason Bourne character – it is our understanding at this time that we won’t see Jason Bourne (unless they can convince Damon to cameo).
That said, the guys they’re currently looking at for the lead include a group of good-looking up-and-comers like Joel Edgerton, Dominic Cooper, Garrett Hedlund and Luke Evans, as well as Logan Marshall-Green of TV's Dark Blue and Taylor Kitsch. Any one of these dudes seem appealing to you for this franchise?
