Scoop This: Gary Busey Joins ‘Piranha 3DD,’ ‘Superman’ Adds Another Villain, 'Glee' Star Joins ‘Stooges’ Movie

Bring on the crazy!! Gary Busey has signed on to Piranha 3DD, the follow-up to last year’s critically and commercially lauded horror movie Piranha 3. Busey joins Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, David Koechner and Meagan Tandy as potential fish bait.  This time around, the flesh-eating fish attack The Big Wet Water Park. Plot? Same as last time – blood, boobs and mayhem. The one question that remains is if we’ll see the mega-piranha that Christopher Lloyd alluded to in the previous movie? Only time will tell. Piranha 3DD is set to hit theaters Thanksgiving weekend.

Emmy-Award winning Glee star Jane Lynch has signed on to the 20th Century Fox feature adaptation of The Three Stooges directed by the Farrelly Brothers. Deadline reports that Lynch will play Mother Superior, the head nun of an orphanage who tries to get the Stooges adopted. Chris Diamantopoulos will play Moe while Will Sasso will play Curly, and Sean Hayes recently signed on to play Larry.

Lastly, the Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot Man of Steel adds a female villainess to the cast. German actress Antje Traue has signed on to play Faora and will join Michael Shannon’s General Zod as Superman Henry Cavill’s opponents. Other actresses including Alice Eve, Diane Kruger and Rosamund Pike were long ago mentioned as potential candidates for the villainess role, but presumably fell out of contention.
