Professor X and the X-Men are the only ones who can save us from the most powerful mutant in the universe, Apocalypse. Awakening from his deep hibernation sleep, Apocalypse must be hungry and I’m sure the first thing on his mind after destroying the X-Men will be cookies.
No mutant can resist the lure of these candy-dipped crème-filled chocolate sandwich cookies that have a red chocolate coating and feature the iconic X-Men symbol. These are the perfect treats for calming Apocalypse’s insatiable thirst for world domination when X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters this month.
X-Men Chocolate Dipped Cookies
You’ll need:
Black icing
Ingredients:
8-10 cookies
12 ounces red candy melts
Directions:
In a microwave safe bowl heat the chocolate at 10-second intervals until melted and smooth.
Spoon a Tablespoon of chocolate into the bottom of the mold, then press a cookie into the chocolate. Top with more chocolate to cover completely.
Tap the molds on a hard surface to get all the air bubbles out. Place in the freezer until solid.
Remove the chocolate from the molds. With a #10 tip pipe the X-Men logo on top with black icing. Once the icing is dry the cookies are ready to serve.
