Happy Force Friday! Toy manufacturers are going to storm retailers around the globe with a whole new legion of Star Wars merchandise ahead of December's The Force Awakens. Big chain retailers like Toys 'r Us opened at midnight  just so that people can get the jump on buying all of the goods. And while there are hundreds, if not thousands, of new toys to choose from, there are two in particular that are too cool to ignore.

The BB-8 Sphero and the remote-controlled Millennium Falcon drone.

Yes, you can now own a BB-8 that you can actually drive around while its adorable little head bobbles around adorably. And yes, you can buy a Millennium Falcon that actually flies. (Some of these already exist, but they're not as cool as this one.)

The BB-8 will set you back $149.99, which certainly isn't cheap, but that's a fair price to pay for a pretty impressive little piece of technology. It's got voice control, remote control, and even has the ability to record augmented-reality videos to make it look like it's projecting hologram videos. Here's a video of it in full motion.

Before you plunk down all of that money, though, you may want to read Toyland's in-depth BB-8 review. The short version is that it's as cool as it looks, but may be a bit hard to clean and since it doesn't have censors to stop it from falling off of anything, you're going to want to be mighty careful with it.

It looks like you can be a bit less careful with Air Hogs' new line of flying Star Wars vehicles, though. Their Millennium Falcon and X-wings are made of an incredibly lightweight but durable foam that means a crash landing isn't going to be the end of the world. And boy are they cool to see flying.

Check out the video below (which should jump to the right spot once you hit play) to see the Falcon in motion. Just be warned that it means you're probably going to be pulling out your wallet about 30 seconds after pressing play.

Full sales info for both of these toys are hard to come by for now, but check your toy retailer of choice starting Friday, September 4, 2015 to find them.
