By now you’ve probably seen the pics of Will Smith’s mammoth over-sized trailer parked on the set of Men in Black III. New York City residents have been complaining about the 1,150 square foot nuisance anchored down in the Soho neighborhood. The trailer, which sells for $2 million and rents for $9,000 per week measures 53 feet long and requires 22 wheels to transport it 30 tons of weight.

The interior features a lounge, a movie room with a 100-inch screen, marble floors, offices for assistants and writing staff, a bedroom and an all-granite bathroom. Here’s the kicker – Smith is already renting a five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom apartment for $25,000 a month less than a mile away from the set. The real estate broker said that Smith wanted a pool and didn’t want to share an elevator with “normal people.”
Fortunately for Soho residents, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has stepped in and forced Smith to move his trailer about a half mile from the set onto a private parking lot.
So we pose the question to you – do you think Smith’s trailer is cool or obnoxious? And for fun, jump over to Movies.com and comment on what kind of Transformer the trailer would morph into.
