Up until this morning, every Star Trek Into Darkness trailer has focused on the explosive action sequences in the film. We've seen the Enterprise crash a number of times (don't worry, it crashes here as well), but the tone of this final trailer is very different.
As Simon Pegg tweeted, "If this doesn't convince you, nothing will."
From the very beginning, you can tell the difference between this trailer and everything else we've seen up until now. The tone is much more somber and it is, without doubt, one of the most emotional trailers we've seen for a summer blockbuster.
So without further adieu, here's the final Star Trek into Darkness trailer and poster. The film opens May 17. Tickets are now on sale for the general release as well as to the Star Trek Into Darkness Fan Sneeks on May 15.
