Olivia Wilde, who’s certainly seen her career take off in the past year, nabbed the lead female role from frontrunner Sarah Silverman.
James Gandolfini is also in talks to join the cast as a billionaire who owns the Las Vegas casino where Wonderstone (Carrell) works.
Meanwhile, Steve Buscemi will play Carrell's magician partner Anton, who is injured during a risky trick that leads to Wonderstone packing up and heading to India to teach magic. Wonderstone tries to convince Anton to return when a new street magician (Carrey) starts turning heads.
Burt Wonderstone will be helmed by 30 Rock director Don Scardino and with the addition of three solid actors, it looks like it could be a breakout hit in 2013.
