From Stacie Hougland: The Human Torch Chris Evans doesn't think Fantastic Four 3 will ever see light of day, calling the franchise a "closed book." "I'm pretty sure we won't do [another] one," he says. "We had all planned on doing [another] one but if there were going to be a third I think a week after the second one was released we would have heard," he tells MTV.com.

Have we seen the end of them?

Evans has been candid about his disappointment in the first two, which fans derided as being too juvenile in an era of dark, tormented superheroes battling their inner demons while fighting crime, but still championed the series' potential. In recent days, though, Johnny Storm is singing a different tune. "It takes up a lot of time. It’s a big commitment. I’m happy with walking away." He would, however, be happy to bring Johnny to another Marvel movie.
