Say what you will about Nicolas Cage's recent slate of films, but the guy keeps getting gigs. His latest may team him with William Friedkin, who is reportedly eyeing the directing slot on I Am Wrath as a follow-up to his excellent Killer Joe.

The film centers around a man whose wife has been murdered. With the police unable to track down the killer, he starts to do a little digging himself and find widespread corruption in his local police force. He decides to take matters into his own hands and punish the corrupt cops, which means we'll be getting more Cage rage.

Filming is slated to begin in February, with LionsGate set to distribute. No release date has been mentioned.
