The 24th James Bond movie will be called SPECTRE, and it'll star Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, Lea Seydoux, Andrew Scott and Monica Bellucci, alongside returning cast members Daniel Craig, Naomi Harris, Ben Whishaw and Ralph Fiennes. The film arrives in theaters on November 6, 2015 in the U.S. and October 23 in the U.K. Watch the full announcement below.
SPECTRE, of course, is the name of the iconic villainous organization headed by Bond's arch nemesis, Blofeld. While it was rumored that Waltz would play that character -- with Bautista acting as his henchman, like Oddjob or Jaws -- both men have different names in the movie. Waltz is said to be playing someone named Oberhauser, possibly referencing Hannes Oberhauser, a mountain guide who taught young Bond how to ski and climb. Bautista, meanwhile, is playing a guy named Mr. Hinx, which sounds totally henchman-y to us.
Seydoux (Luciana Sciarra) and Bellucci (Madeleine Swan) are, of course, your Bond ladies this time around. Sam Mendes (Skyfall) will once again direct, with Interstellar's Hoyte Van Hoyteme coming aboard as the cinematographer. That makes sense as we've also learned recently that Mendes will be shooting the next Bond movie on film. Lastly, Bond loves his exotic international locations, so SPECTRE will take us to London, Rome, Mexico City, Tangiers and Austria.
