Ocean's Eleven: Cate Blanchett is in talks to join Sandra Bullock in a reboot of Ocean's Eleven. Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, the upcoming Free State of Jones) is set to direct. Production should start in late fall or early winter, though that may mean previously rumored Jennifer Lawrence will not be available due to a potential schedule conflict. [The Playlist]
Pitch Perfect 3: Last fall, we heard that Elizabeth Banks would be directing Pitch Perfect 3, following her successful feature directorial debut Pitch Perfect 2 (above). Banks has now exited the project, though she will still serve as producer and will also reprise the role she played in the previous two installments. Banks says, "We have been in development and it took longer than we thought. … If we pushed into fall it bumped up against my parental responsibilities, which made me feel uncomfortable."
