Johnny Depp: While filming the latest installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series in Australia, Johnny Depp and his wife, Amber Heard, stayed at a "luxurious mansion" owned by Australian race-car driver Mick Doohan. Now Depp wants to make a documentary about the driver, a five-time champion on the MotoGP circuit. Depp wrote and directed the drama The Brave back in 1997; more recently, he worked on a documentary about Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards that's yet to be released. [News.com.au]
Assassin's Creed: Ubisoft, the publisher of video game Assassin's Creed and many other titles, announced plans to open an Ubisoft-focused theme park in Malaysia in 2020. The French company previously created a 3D ride based on its Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time game, which was a big success in France. No specific rides have been announced, though it's speculated that popular games like Assassin's Creed, Just Dance, Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell are likely candidates to be converted. [Variety]
