Avengers: Age of Ultron

Captain America: Civil War: We've known for a while that Bruce Banner, aka the Incredible Hulk, won't be appearing in the forthcoming Captain America: Civil War, but now Mark Ruffalo has offered his explanation of why the character will be absent. Ruffalo says that Hulk was originally in the script, but then removed; Marvel decided that to reveal what happened to Hulk was "too big," and wants to use the explanation, and possibly the character, in a later movie. Goosebumps

Goosebumps: Heading for release on October 16, Goosebumps has already enjoyed positive advance buzz, and now it's reported that Sony is planning a sequel. It's not unusual for studios to make such plans; that way they can be ready to roll if box office returns meet or exceed expectations. The movie is inspired by a long line of books by R.L. Stine which have sold more than 350 million copies worldwide; Jack Black plays a fictionalized version of the author. [The Tracking Board]

 

Bullet to the Head

Braven: Jason Momoa (Bullet to the Head, above), who is set to play Aquaman in next year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, has been set to star in the action-thriller Braven. Momoa will portray a lumberjack who is forced to protect his family when a gang of drug runners invade their isolated cabin on the border between Canada and the United States. [Deadline]

 

The Gamechangers

The Gamechangers Trailer: Daniel Radcliffe stars in The Gamechangers, based on the real-life story of the famed British creator of video game Grand Theft Auto. The first trailer features his battle with an American lawyer (Bill Paxton) who led a protest against the game's more violent elements. The movie will debut on BBC Two on September 15.
