Untitled Richard Jewell Movie: We heard a while back that Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill would reteam for a movie about Richard Jewell, a security guard who went from hero to falsely accused suspect in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics bombing incident. Now comes word that Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum) may direct the film, which features a script by Billy Ray, who wrote last year's Captain Phillips for the director. The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Andrew Garfield admits he was surprised by the mixed critical reaction to The Amazing Spider-Man 2. He says he "loved" the script by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, but noted that portions of the story were cut from the film: "Certain people at the studio had problems with certain parts of it, and ultimately the studio is the final say in those movies." Garfield also said that he loves "constructive criticism" and wants to consider further "if we missed anything." [The Daily Beast]
Ted 2: The always-busy Morgan Freeman is joining the cast of Ted 2. The sequel to the comedy smash features the returning Mark Wahlberg along with the voice of cowriter and director Seth MacFarlane. Reportedly, Freeman will play a famed attorney who specializes in civil rights, which is always helpful when you're dealing with a talking teddy bear. The movie is heading for release on June 26, 2015. [Variety]
