Beyond the Sun: Pope Francis will make his acting debut in Beyond the Sun. He will portray himself in the religious drama, described as "a family adventure based on the Gospels." The Sandcastle Empire: Leonardo DiCaprio will produce a big-screen version of The Sandcastle Empire, a novel by Kayla Olson targeted at young adults. Set in a dire future after apocalyptic events, it's said to focus especially on environmental issues, which drew DiCaprio's interest.
