But yesterday came word that "after much deliberation and conflicting feelings," Bale decided that he was "not right for the part." Today, Deadline is reporting that Michael Fassbender is now in talks for the role also passed on by Leonardo DiCaprio; Rogen is in discussions to play Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak under the direction of Danny Boyle. Bone Tomahawk: Kurt Russell is showcased in the first photo from Bone Tomahawk, the actor's first Western since 1993's Tombstone. Russell stars as a sheriff who "sets out to rescue a group of captives from a band of cannibalistic troglodytes." Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox and Richard Jenkins are featured as fellow rescuers. The Neon Demon: Nicolas Winding Refn (above), known for directing tough-guy movies like Drive and Only God Forgives, will next make The Neon Demon, a female-driven horror picture. Plot details are being kept secret for now, though the director says he was inspired when he woke one morning and realized he was "both surrounded and dominated by women."
