Peter Rabbit: Margot Robbie (The Legend of Tarzan, above) is in final negotiations to voice a bunny in Peter Rabbit. The live-action/CGI hybrid movie is based on Beatrix Potter's classic tale and will revolve around a rivalry between a rabbit and a farmer. James Corden will voice the lead role, while Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki are also confirmed. Will Gluck (Annie) will direct. [THR]

 

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

Mortal Engines: Peter Jackson will produce Mortal Engines. It's the first in what is hoped to be a movie franchise, based on five books written by Philip Reeve set in a far distant, postapocalyptic world where a few young people battle an ambitious man's dastardly plans. Jackson will produce with his partner Fran Walsh. The two collaborated on the script with their usual writing partner Philippa Boyen; Christian Rivers, who has worked with Jackson for years as a visual artist, will make his directorial debut.
