Richard Jewell: Clint Eastwood may direct Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio in the story of Richard Jewell, who was falsely accused of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics bombing. Hill would star as the security guard, while DiCaprio is now only touted as "possible" to costar as Jewell's lawyer; the two actors previously worked together on The Wolf of Wall Street. Apostle Paul: Hugh Jackman may be hanging up his claws as Wolverine, but he's ready to take on other challenges. That includes starring as the titular character in Apostle Paul, based on the account in the Bible about Saul, a devout Jew who persecuted Christians until Jesus appeared to him one day. The converted Christian then changed his name to Paul and began preaching the Gospel far and wide. Jackman will produce, along with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. [Deadline]
Godzilla: The next Godzilla adventure will stomp into theaters in 2016, courtesy of Japanese studio Toho, which has just released the first teaser image. The studio also announced that Japanese director Hideaki Anno will write and helm the feature, which does not yet have an official title. Meanwhile, the next Hollywood Godzilla is not due until 2018.
