Jupiter Ascending: The next sci-fi movie from the Wachowskis is heading to theaters on July 18, and a new image from Jupiter Ascending confirms it can't come soon enough. Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis are featured, ready to fly, thanks to a pair of antigravity boots. [Total Film]
Mrs. Doubtfire: A sequel to the 1993 smash hit comedy Mrs. Doubtfire is moving forward (again). The original, directed by Chris Columbus, starred Robin Williams as a recently divorced father who dresses up as a woman to get a job as a housekeeper so he can spend more time with his children. A sequel has been in development since 2001; David Berenbaum (Elf) is writing a new script, and both Columbus and Williams are returning. [The Hollywood Reporter]
The Hobbit: There and Back Again: Will the third installment of The Hobbit series soon change titles? It's only a rumor at this point, but New Line has registered the title The Hobbit: Into the Fire. Now, that title could be for something else entirely, though it's relevant that the title The Hobbit: There and Back Again is a holdover from before the series was split into three movies. Peter Jackson's conclusion to the trilogy will open in theaters on December 17. [The One Ring]
