Several months have passed since the first enigmatic trailer for DreamWorks Animations Rise of the Guardians was revealed. All audiences really got from that trailer was that Santa, a bunny, a little magical sand guy and, as one kid watching trailers behind me told her mom, a hummingbird (it’s actually the Tooth Fairy) band together to stop an ominous dark figure from spreading fear across the world.

Today brings us the second trailer for the film which introduces us to Jack Frost, a character completely left out of the first trailer. The character is voiced by Chris Pine and actually serves as the main character/focal point of the story.

We also get a better idea of what the film is about - A group of mythical good guys trying to story fear from taking over the world. The film features voice work by Alec Baldwin (Santa), Hugh Jackman (Easter Bunny), Isla Fisher (Tooth Fairy), Jude Law (Pitch aka the bad guy) and Pine. Sandman doesn't have any dialogue.

Rise of the Guardians isn't due in theaters until November 21, so we're sure to get another trailer that hopefully builds on the excellent job this one did of conveying story and character.
