Simply put, this newly restored and remastered version looks amazing. Director Ridley Scott says the restoration process began in 2000 and involved digging deep into the archives to uncover missing footage, improving the special effects, and even shooting new scenes.

Complete with neon, fog machines, spotlights and mannequins posed on the Bradbury’s stairways, it was like being in the movie—especially when Sean Young showed up in a big furry coat like her character in the film.
