Are you ready for yet another romantic vampire movie? Ready or not, auteur Jim Jarmusch is set to direct Michael Fassbender, Mia Wasikowska and Tilda Swinton in what is described as a “crypto-vampire love story.”

Jarmusch has directed big name stars in some of his prior movies – Johnny Depp in Dead Man, Forrest Whitaker in Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai and Bill Murray in Broken Flowers – and this cast is undoubtedly the most interesting and talented cast the vampire genre has seen in a lonnng time.
The movie is set against the, “romantic desolation of Detroit and Tangiers,” and will shoot in Germany, Morocco and Detroit next year. The vampire movie will reunite Fassbender and Wasikowska, who steamed up screens earlier this year in Jane Eyre and will mark Swinton’s third collaboration with the director.
While a release date has not been set, look for this film to release sometime late 2012, perhaps after The Twilight Saga has wrapped and Twihards are itching for more vamp romance.
