No one is immune to the effects of social media, especially the titular subjects of director Jason Reitman's new film Men, Women & Children.
The movie, which premiered at the 2014 Toronto Film Festival, takes an unflinching look at the way modern society uses smartphones and broadband connections to forge digital relationships with real people. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Garner headline Reitman's ensemble, as the filmmaker chronicles the impact social media has on their friendships, their love lives and, most importantly, their self-image.
