Thought you heard it all, think again – in the spirit of films like Night at the Museum, folks are now looking to make a movie based on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. One concept includes the giant floats coming to life, though producers are considering several pitches.

One thing they’d like to do is create another beloved Macy’s-related movie like Miracle on 34th Street. Strange idea, sure, but they may be onto something. The Thanksgiving Day Parade is a real special tradition for a lot of people around the world, and there’s nothing like experiencing those massive floats as a little kid.

How they would create a film with giant floats and not have it be animated might be hard, as well as snagging the rights to use all the most famous characters in some capacity (I imagine that could get expensive), but creating some sort of Home Alone with a genre twist might be a cool way to go.

What do you think? What sort of story would grab your attention?
