Call it 17 Again … Again, though that’s not really what it’s called. However if movie bosses get their way, we could see Justin Bieber team up with Ashton Kutcher in a new comedy that shows us what happens when a 17-year-old kid meets his 30-year-old self. (And if it’s Justin Bieber we’re talking about, I guess this means he eventually turns into Ashton Kutcher. Um … no comment.)

The LA Times tells us the film is called What Would Kenny Do?, and it’s about a 30-year-old dude (Kutcher) who travels back in time to help guide his awkward self (Bieber) through high school. It’s sort of a mix between films like 17 Again, Big, Hitch and Back to the Future, and since all those were successful films we could see why this project sounds appealing.
Will Smith’s Overbook Entertainment is setting this one up, which is probably why Bieber’s name is mentioned (apparently Smith is helping guide his movie career), and it also probably means Smith’s son Jaden (aka Bieber’s best buddy) will factor into the film somehow.
Is this a good project for Justin Bieber to launch his movie career as an actor? Can you see this kid who’s beloved by millions of teeny-bopper girls actually playing an awkward high schooler? Sound off below …
