Right now New York City is hot, muggy, sticky and just not all that pleasant to walk around, so why not ditch the heat for a little movie-related chitchat. Tonight at the Apple Store in SoHo, New York City, Fandango (and Movies.com) editor Erik Davis will be chatting live with White House Down director Roland Emmerich. We'll be talking about all sorts of things related to his explosive new movie (in theaters this weekend; buy tickets here), and we may even slip in a little somethin' on Independence Day 2 too.

We still have a few hours before the event, so cancel tonight's plans and come on by. Also, if you have any questions for Mr. Emmerich, drop them in the comments section and I'll try to throw a few out during our conversation.

See you there!
