Perhaps the most depressing Monday of the year is actually the first Monday of the year because it's the day all of us must come to terms with the fact that the holidays are over and it's time to go back to whatever it is we're supposed to be doing, be it school or work... or singing along to Spongebob Squarepants music videos.
Oh, that's right! In advance of his new movie arriving in theaters on February 6, Spongebob Squarepants has declared today to be a Day of Positivity, and with that extra dose of positivity comes this new music video for a song that's all about how awesome Mondays are.
Because Mondays are just so... great. And super. And we love 'em! (Okay we don't like Mondays at all, but this video put a smile on our face so that has to count for something, right?)
In addition the video, "The SpongeBob Day of Positivity" will include some other fun stuff, like...
-- Viacom Networks (including Nickelodeon, MTV, VH-1 and Comedy Central) running exclusive and unique spots inviting viewers to celebrate this new and exciting holiday.
-- Cinemark Theaters offering the first 500 ticketholders on January 5 at each of its locations nationwide a coupon card for a free junior popcorn when seeing “THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE OUT OF WATER” on opening weekend, while supplies last.
-- Paramount-hosted events in cities across the U.S. and Canada.

And because SpongeBob is, like, the biggest fan of Fandango, he sent us a positively swell care package earlier, and... well, our Monday frowns have been turned upside down.
