If you own a portable device that supports the Angry Birds app, then chances are you’re already an addict. I have no idea what it is about shooting birds through a slingshot, but the damn thing is the most addictive game ever. With the game’s popularity growing more and more each day – complete with new plush dolls for each bird and more merchandise on the way – it’s only a matter of time before we see an Angry Birds movie, right?
After all they’ve already taken the first step by teaming up with the upcoming animated film Rio on a new Rio-inspired version of Angry Birds that features characters from both the game and movie, and will continue to debut new levels throughout 2011.
Next up: A full-length animated movie for those Angry Birds (or a TV show, which we heard may be in the works as well), but before that comes the spoofs. In this latest Angry Birds movie spoof, we see what an Angry Birds movie would look like if over-the-top action director Michael Bay (he of Transformers and Bad Boys fame) were to step behind the camera for some bird-on-frog action.
