Gangster Squad arrived in theaters overnight, banking a solid $650,000 at midnight screenings. The gritty crime drama centered on a band of cops who come together to prevent mob expansion in Los Angeles stars Josh Brolin, Sean Penn and Emma Stone, among the star-studded ensemble cast.

One of those ensemble cast members (and one of the main reasons women are going to watch this movie) is Ryan Gosling. The heartthrob appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel's late night show last night, in a hilarious skit co-starring Will Ferrell.

Earlier this week, Kimmel's show began airing earlier than its previous midnight time slot. As a result, there was a scheduling issue with Ferrell's home shopping show. Watch as Ferrell argues with Kimmel over the new time slot and then manically demonstrates the cutting power of his products, all while Gosling attempts to stifle laughter.
