In the upcoming horror movie Umma, Amanda (Sandra Oh) is a woman likes her quiet life with her daughter on their little farm. Her peace is shattered by the arrival of an unexpected visitor: A stranger has brought the remains of her estranged mother – “Umma” in Korean. And then things start to get scary.
Is Amanda losing it, or does Umma’s spirit really have a bone to pick? And what’s going on with Amanda’s own headstrong daughter?
