In Captive, the thrilling and dramatic story based on the real-life events, David Oyelowo portrays David Nichols, a fugitive, murderer and accused rapist who abducts Ashley Smith (Kate Mara), a single mother and recovering drug addict, in her apartment while he is on the run.
