Twilight fans should start packing their tents and sleeping bags and stocking up on food. The calendar has turned to the long-awaited month of November and Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is mere weeks away.

As with any franchise finale, this one is also tinged with bittersweetness as fans get one final look at Bella, Edward, Jacob and the rest of the Twilight cast of characters.

Press junket screenings were held Tuesday night for critics who are currently in the midst of junket interviews and press conferences today. Our Liz Guiting is live-tweeting highlight moments and observations from today on our Fandango Twitter page.

But the big question for fans is, does this movie live up to the build-up over the past few years. Do you get the finale that you've been waiting for? Based on early critic reaction last night, yes.

Keep in mind, every Twilight movie up until now has generally dismissed by critics. In fact, every film has ended up "rotten" over on Rotten Tomatoes, with last year's Breaking Dawn – Part 1 bottoming out with a 25% rotten rating.

While it's too early to tell what the rest of the nation's critics think, here's a sampling of what a few press folks thought of the film:

Regardless of what anybody says, if you're a fan of the Twilight franchise or any of the actors in the expansive cast, you've probably already circled November 16 on your calendar and hopefully, you've bought your tickets!
