Battle of the Year has been delaying its release for a couple years now. I guess since there's no Step Up movie arriving in theaters this year, Screen Gems finally decided to release the film.
Starring Chris Brown (yes, that Chris Brown) and LOST's Josh Holloway as a washed up basketball-turned-dance coach, Battle of the Year centers on an American dance crew that travels to France to compete in a dancing competition in hopes of taking down the reigning champions (the Koreans) and bringing the trophy home to the U.S. of A. And yes, there's a love story and some drama mixed in for fun.
Battle of the Year arrives in theaters September 13.
