Here's a great little stat courtesy of IMDb: According to their end-of-year lists based on the amount of page searches across its site, the top 10 stars of 2014 are all women for the first time ever. The annual list has been compiled for a decade and is one of several the site releases each year.
"Normally, it's fairly well distributed," IMDb's Keith Simanton told USA Today, "but there were a lot of strong roles for women this year." Shailene Woodley topped the list for the first time, with last year's number-one lady, Jennifer Lawrence, dropping into the second spot. Most surprisingly is Wolf of Wall Street's Margot Robbie snagging the third spot, which just goes to show how memorable she was in that role. Also nice to see Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke in the fourth spot, with Scarlett Johansson (Lucy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) rounding out the top five. If this list reveals anything, it's that audiences are hungry for strong female performances, and it's nice to see so many of the year's best being recognized on this list.

So what about the dudes? Well, Leonardo DiCaprio finished at number 11 on that list, just missing the top 10 (he was third last year). More guys appeared on the site's Top Breakout Stars list, including Chris Pratt and Jared Leto. You can check out that list at USA Today.
