The Wachowski brothers (or is it siblings now?) are back with the first trailer for their upcoming sci-fi action adventure Jupiter Ascending.
The footage is visually stunning, as expected. The Wachowskis are the creators behind The Matrix trilogy, Speed Racer and last year's Cloud Atlas.
Jupiter Ascending centers on a young woman, Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) who is targeted for assassination by the Queen of the Universe because her existence threatens to end the Queen's reign. The Queen sends a genetically-engineered ex-military hunter named Caine (Channing Tatum) to carry out the assassination. Oh and if that wasn't enough intrigue, Caine is a defective genetic splice that makes him half-albino with both wolf and human DNA.
Joining Kunis and Tatum are Sean Bean as a "Han Solo-type character," Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth and James D'arcy.
Jupiter Ascending hits theaters July 25, 2014.
