Looper is still a few months from hitting theaters, which give Film District the opportunity to put out a new trailer, that quite frankly, blows away anything they've released thus far.

For the uninitiated, Looper stars Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a younger version of Bruce. JGL plays a man working for a group of killers called Loopers who send people back thirty years in time from 2072 to be killed. You can pretty much see the conflict here as an older version of himself (Willis) gets sent back in time to be executed.

Looper is directed by Rian Johnson who has previously directed cult classics Brick and The Brothers Bloom. Looper definitely has the feel of being a sleeper hit and this new trailer builds upon the relationship between Willis and JGL that we've seen in previous clips.

The film co-stars Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano and Piper Perabo and hits theaters September 28. Check out the new trailer below, courtesy of MSN.
